I was very enamored with the idea of creating a full circus tent for our production. After a lot of swatch shopping, I bought over 160 yards of suit lining material, which had exactly the right translucency to be back and up lit, lightness to be swagged, and  came in the right washed out tones. I hired my costumer friend Sydney DeBriel to sew the 6 leg panels and 30' wide back curtain with built in swag pockets.

The tent served as the base for all the scenes, complimented by tracking  flats or doorway wagons. When the circus tent was being used for Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, a sign would drop down center while a large center post with attached globe light swags would track to center.
